Concert in Aarhus, DK, coming up!
We're going to do a concert at Klostertorv in the middle of Aarhus, the 2nd of September at 9.30pm. It's free and a part of the Aarhus Festuge.

Summervacation almost over

16th of june: Postyr In Concert & On TV
Yesterday we had an apperance at the news channel TV2 Østjylland about our 1th price in Italy. Tonight we're gonna perform at Studenterhus Århus together with Vox11. It starts at 8 a clock and will be our last show with Morten Vinther :(

Yesterday we actually won the italian a cappella contest: Solevoci! We are really happy and are now heading home with a lot of money, many new contacts and our heads held high!

So we're here in Italy and are networking our butts of :-) Looking forward to soundrehearsal later, and hope that we can get all our gear working! Morten will arrive in hour or so!
On our way to Varese, Italy
After our concert in Paradise last night (thanks to all who came and supported us!), we are now ready to participate in the international vocal festival Solevoci in Varese, Italy on the 5th - 7th of June. We are looking forward to meeting with other vocal groups and to present our music to an international audience. Hopefully we will return with a lot less EP's and some new italian phrases.
New EP out now!
During the spring Postyr has spent a lot of time recording at the Corona Studio. And now we are proud to present our very first EP consisting of three brand new songs. One of the songs features Janis Shipsi from the Latvian vocal group, Cosmos. The EP will be released on the 3rd of June and will be sold for the price of 40 DKR. You also have the possibility of supporting Postyr by purchasing our upcoming album that will be released in Spring 2011 for the total cost of 120 DKR - including the EP!
Postyr in Paradise!
In Aarhus there is an art cinema called Øst for Paradis (translated: East of Paradise). On the 3rd of June Postyr will do a performance with the title Postyr in Paradise on this spectacular location. Supporting us this evening is Danish vocal/ electronica artist, Vibeke Falden who has previously done a warm-up gig for Imogen Heap. The concert begins at 8.30 PM and tickets are available at http://www.paradisbio.dk for the price of 60 DKR. The concert will be our last gig before taking off to Italy.
New singer
As of the 1st of August the barytone of Postyr, Morten Vinther will join The Real Group. We are very happy for Morten and proud on his behalf. We will of course miss Morten very much and we wish him the best of luck in his new job. In Postyr we find ourselves constantly evolving and we are very happy to introduce our new barytone singer, Anders Hornshøj. Anders is a student at the Royal Academy of Music and he is an experienced singer. You may already know him from the awardwinning vocal group, Vox 11.
